Fillmore Baptist Church is a "Sovereign Grace"
S outhern Baptist congregation.
We are an assembly of individuals who have been saved from sin and
death by God's grace through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Colossians 1:13-14

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and

conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

in whom we have

redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that

not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

not of works, lest anyone should

boast.

We acknowledge the Lordship of Jesus and confess that He is the only
Way to God and, therefore, the only Way of salvation.

John 14:6

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one

comes to the Father except through Me

We desire to know Him

Philippians 3:8-10

Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence

of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord...that I may know Him...

We desire to worship Him

We desire to be like Him

We desire to be with Him

We desire to make Him known
We want others to come to Christ in faith and know the peace with God
that only comes through trusting Christ. We believe this is accomplished
through the proclamation of th Gospel, the "Good News" that Jesus came
and died, and in so doing, made atonement for the sins of His People.

Ephesians 1:7

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the

forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

1 Timothy 1:15

This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that

Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners...

Hebrews 1:3

who being the brightness of His glory and the express image
